Levine Vokaberg is the culmination of over 33 years’ business experience combining award-winning, interior designer Ruth Levine with her former protégées and new design partners, Lisa Falvo, Jessica Heneka and Debbie Freedberg, formerly of Vokaberg Design.

Levine Vokaberg is the successful marriage of energy and experience, ensuring an exciting future that combines their collective creative and technical skills with their love of design and spatial transformation. The scope of which spans from planning, design and construction, to the procurement of soft furnishings, artwork and accessories that are the distinctive signature of any project.

The team has a shared philosophy for prioritising Client requirements, understanding the importance of materials throughout the design process and drawing inspiration from their surroundings to create liveable interior spaces, which seamlessly blend with the architectural structure and outdoor spaces.

Our design ethos is to create unique, quality designs that entail functional, beautiful and harmonious interiors, a process managed seamlessly for the Client. Levine Vokaberg values Client trust and long term and ongoing relationships and as such, confidentiality is respected.

Levine Vokaberg operates nationally with Clients in NSW, Victoria and Queensland. Through extensive research and a joint love for the interior environment, they keep up to date with their knowledge of the world of design and are all members of the DIA with Ruth being recognised as a Fellow of the Design Institute of Australia.

 

Ruth Levine - FDIA

Since the start of her career as co-founder of the MIRVAC Interior Design Department in 1981, to founding multi award winning RLDesigns, Ruth has specialised in high-end residential and residential development design.

Ruth is an award winning and renowned, interior designer who has forged a strong reputation and built long lasting relationships and friendships with her many Clients. She is also an accomplished artist with her work being collected internationally.

She brings extensive design knowledge of the changing market and creates inviting interiors with layering and textures, always selecting materials for aesthetic and suitability for the individual project. She designs spaces with a heart, her aim is always to create a nurturing home or environment for her Client.

Being a born mentor, Ruth has guided many designers over the years. Her considered design and her creative flair sets her apart, making her a recognisable figure in the contemporary design world.

Debbie Freedberg

MDIA | B.Des Degree (UNSW)

Debbie began her career as a young designer working in the interiors department of the leading architectural practices in Sydney and London. Strong mentorship in each of these companies led to her refined visual awareness and fuelled her interest and understanding of spatial relationships in the interior environment.

She has extensive industry experience, keeps up to date with Australian and International Design directions and excels in high end residential, multi residential, commercial and hospitality design. Debbie’s design aesthetic is modern, clean lined with an organic edge, frequently drawing inspiration from the natural environment.

With a meticulous eye for detail and functionality she has the ability to use her visual spatial awareness to create harmonious, considered, practical and beautiful interiors. Debbie develops strong and lasting relationships working closely with her Clients and always strives to find the best outcome for the project at hand.


Jessica Heneka

MDIA | B. Design in Interior Design (Hons) UTS & B.Theatre Theory & Practice (Theatre Making) UWS

Jessica gained extensive experience working for some of Sydney’s leading interior design firms in high end residential design, multi residential, aged care, hotels, hospitality and commercial spaces.

With a passion for the jigsaw puzzle of design, Jessica naturally gravitates towards the planning and construction side of a project. She believes that design is all encompassing with the interior and exterior working together towards a strong outcome.

A stickler for detail, Jessica’s personal style is drawn towards cleaner, architectural lines, with a considered design approach. She favours the use of natural materials with insightful references to Scandinavian, industrial and mid-century design with a contemporary sensibility.

Whilst working closely with the Client, through her affable communication style, Jessica brings her strong design sensibility to Levine Vokaberg.

Lisa Falvo

MDIA | Diploma of Arts, Interior Decoration and Design, CATC, Sydney

Lisa has worked for some of Sydney’s leading interior design firms. During this time she developed her skill in the interior design industry, working on many high end residential and development projects.

She has a clear vision for the overall outcome of her design interior and with an ability to listen and understand her Client’s individual needs, she brings a level head and dedication to every project.

Staying ahead of the field, with her eye forever on changing design directions, her love of furniture, fashion, textiles and lighting, are a major contribution to Levine Vokaberg’s signature layering and tactile interiors. 

Lisa brings 13 years of industry experience in private high-end residential interiors and immaculate furniture and furnishings knowledge as well as an energetic voice to the Levine Vokaberg partnership.
